Domestic violence is learned behavior model, involving physical abuse or threat of physical abuse, psychological abuse may also increase sexual assault, progressive social isolation, punishment and intimidation. Nowadays this type of crime has increased according to report revealed by WHO.

To begin with, In Latin America a report by the CEPAL – ONU in the international day against Domestic Violence estimates that a 30% to 60% of women reported abuse of their current of former partner .Besides this report denounced the unequal access of women to legal system.

In addition to, improved economic growth rates of recent years, didn’t reduce domestic violence. Behind the increasement were strong cultural pattenns of discrimination, sexism and the exercise of force. However, the presidents of Chile and Argentina who have done their history with talent and overwork have announced changes of substance by dealing with domestic violence.

In conclusion, its time for all America boost politics in this direction to finish with this aberrant and silent violation of human rights
